Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join their team in North Carolina. This role is perfect for an experienced accounting professional with a background in manufacturing who is looking to contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Managing journal entries and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.
• Performing account reconciliations to maintain precise financial records.
• Applying extensive experience in manufacturing to enhance financial processes.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure compliance with financial standards.
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial reports and records.
• Assisting with financial audits and preparing relevant documentation.
• Developing and maintaining financial reports for management review.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in managing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus, but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability from Monday to Friday during first shift hours.

Benefits
